SO SAD. ....... After reading that Facebook is saying that posting the Lord’s Prayer goes against their policies, I’m asking all Christians please post the Lord’s Prayer:
Our father which art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth
As it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever
Amen

Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth
As it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever
Amen

καὶ ἄφες ἡμῖν τὰ ὀφειλήματα ἡμῶν,
ὡς καὶ ἡμεῖς ἀφίεμεν τοῖς ὀφειλέταις ἡμῶν·
is the relevant piece - ὀφειλήματa ----- ὀφειλw is in my dictionary ( you know the one I copied out during lock down) - as "owe, debt"
Now, my dears - there are some who believe that he KJV ( King James version ) was written 'inerrant' - divine inspiration working in 1605
and others ( me) who believe there are bits they didnt understand ( the use of the perfect in NT Greek for one) and were correctable.
