Having been labelled on here as a racist, I would deny that claim most fervently for a variety of reasons, although I can easily see how somebody may come to that conclusion.
Racism, in whatever form it takes, needs to be called out, as it is am evil that denies our fellow man the very dignity that we ourselves demand and expect.
Most incidents of racism are directed by whites towards non whites, and therefore gain the headlines and the popular appreciation of the whole subject.
But I declare that racism is a two way street, and that racism in many forms is directed not only towards individual white people or groups of white people, but towards the very institutions and traditions that are part of our accepted way of life, and that such reverse racism, is equally dangerous and also needs to be confronted vigorously whenever it appears under whatever current guise it has adapted.
Do you agree with this, or have any constructive comment to offer?

Agree with you that its a two way street. Some of your passed posts about race have made me feel uncomfortable tho
Racism is a two way street.
Are traffic lights needed or can we all learn to give way?
//towards the very institutions and traditions that are part of our accepted way of life//

And other peoples accepted way of life?
Or maybe they don't count
Racism and sexism are both 2 way streets. It seems to be OK for non whites to have their own events but not for whites ie black lives matter, don't ALL lives matter?
It's OK to have ladies nights in gyms but not OK to have a men only night.
Why is it OK for one side and not the other?
"I would deny that claim most fervently for a variety of reasons,..."

Go on then, give the reasons, not including 'one of my in-laws is black', please.
I'd like to hear some of your examples before I agree or not.....and why is it not ok to have men only nights at gyms? Who has banned it?
gyms used to be the preserve of men once upon a time. I would like to think that we have moved on since then.
just remember some things seen as anti white are actually in place to address issues of imbalance. My old employer offered a fast track to management scheme for Asian women as they were under represented. I knew this meant there was no point in applying for promotion for the rest of my time there as I knew where the jobs would be going. I was angry as it affected my final pension and I saw workers with less experience and fewer qualifications shoot up the ladder. when one failed in a post after about three months I asked if it would be open to all when readvertised. I was told it wasn't going to be it was created to support the scheme.

I understand the why.... I found it difficult to deal with in reality.
Ladies' Nights at hymns are simply so ladies can relax without being oggled at by leery men.

Contrary to what a lot of men think, pasty puffing fat men working out is not a massive turn on for the opposite sex.
They sound like quiet strenuous Hymns Andy!
Strenuous but hard to hear if they're "quiet"...
AH, women can leer at men too in gyms, particularly large packaged Gentlemen. Seen it many times.

There should never be one rule for one and another rule for others or you will never acheive equality, in fact all you achieve is division.

If you are at all aware of history and tradition, the people being encouraged, are those that have usually been left out or put off, due to being more vulnerable. We still have some way to go.

Theland, unless the scales tip the opposite way (which they haven't yet), surely we are all aiming for equality? We haven't even got that far- so I'm not sure why you are quite so defensive? Being white, and male, which prejudices have you personally found that have hindered you? You just are coming across as totally unaware of how other people are treated.

I'm sure you have, ymb... have you tried asking them to look at someone else instead? ;-)
Theland before I comment in full can I please have some examples to back up your theory?
Theland - your post is hardly a revelation to anyone living in our current society.

However, your frequently posted baseless suspicions of anyone who does not share your faith or ethnicity suggest that you have some way to go towards being part of the solution, rather than part of the problem.
Theland seems to have forgotten his Feb 2019 thread. I think we went into the matter in plenty detail for you to then. Obviously it didn't sink in.
One only may need traffic lights at a junction.
it won;t sink in zac. person appears to entrenched in his views.
For those of us who don't go back that far and have no intention of looking through nearly two years worths of posts Zacs, could you explain what happened in Feb 2019 please?
