Apparently fraudsters are sending people fake messages saying they are eligible for a Covid jab. The victims are directed to a bogus NHS website which asks for bank info and personal facts for verification. This scam, first seen in Scotland in December, is sweeping the UK as millions wait their turn for the vaccine.
Now i'm sure none of us clever and astute ABers would be taken in by such a scam, but it may be worth the time warning your elderly rellies, friends and neighbours about it.

Thanks, I've just been notified of this scam - it does look pretty convincing and I'm sure some eager to get the vaccine would fall for it.
