I Took The Plunge And I Hate Them

We were talking the other day about eyebrow tattoos

So today i went to the parlour and had them done.

It took 2 and a half hours! Didnt realise it would take that long but after much excitement i was shown a mirror and they are awful! I hate them they are too big for my face i think.

The girl said they would not look so dark in about 7-14 days which i hope is true cos i really dont even want to go out.

Im now one of those people i usually talk about as having 2 slugs on their face.

Yes, i did, but wasn't expecting them to be that big, maybe its just that im used to having thin lines that usually have to pencil on and hopefully they will be better when they fade a bit - i do hope so.

next time pencil them on with a felt tip pen to show exactly how big you want them

I should have done really, but i defo wont be getting them done again! She said they last about 2 years so after that the pencil will make a re appearance. Ha ha!

they do fade significantly after a few days...you will probably get used to the change in a while too

Had been thinking about having this done as my eyebrows are almost non-existent but will have to rethink now. Maybe safer with the old pencil?

I think Darcey you were well warned - my friend had them done but whilst she didn't complain - they are awful looking.

Is there anything you can do get them "reduced" or "thinned" if you know what I mean.

The other thing (like don't take my word) but after a few weeks if they haven't died down or look ok - could you start all over again and shave them and start using the pencil again. Sorry for you Darcey - as your face is everything.

I too was thinking about having this done as I've lost most of my eyebrows, but I'm worried about ending up looking like I've been 'goosed' - or even worse, ending up looking like Max Wall. :0(

How is it done - can you choose the colour and shape?

They have dulled down a little now and a friend told me today they looked great (although she might have been lying!)

Im happier with them today than i was yesterday so maybe they might end up being ok, fingers crossed.

Mine are too thin but I’d be terrified of having this done for that very reason.

You’ll have it in your mind, Darcy how they looked immediately when your skin was a bit irritated too. I’m sure as that calms they’ll get better and better.

Windywillow - yes you can choose the colour and shape which i did. The brows themselves are fab but i just dont think they suit my face, if that makes sense.

you'll grow accustomed to them.. it's like when you get a new filling and your mouth feels it has aliens in there ! lol

Funny thing, I never really notice anyone's natural eyebrows unless they are really overgrown on men. I have never thought 'that woman's eyebrows are too thin'.
I can't take my eyes off the slug type and often have to stop myself from laughing if they are too outrageous.
Ladies, stop fretting about your eyebrows - they only bother you.
