This reminds me of a cartoon which appeared way back in the late Fifties (in Private Eye IIRC) at the height of the Beatnik era. There's a Beatnik standing in front of the chemist's counter which is displaying bottles of shampoo for long hair, short hair, fair hair, dark hair, thick hair, thin hair, dry hair etc., and the beatnik is saying to the assistant,"Hey man, have you got anything for dirty hair?"
