I have this friend, let’s call her Janay. Janay has been my friend since kindergarten, our parents know each other and I know her family. Ever since she got into my highschool, she has been changing. One time, I wore makeup for my birthday and she saw the pictures I took. A few weeks after, I overheard her with boys saying, "Ugh, I don’t like girls who wear too much makeup, they probably wear it because they’re ugly and insecure." A few months after this, she was always seen with makeup. She always seems to change her personality when she’s around guys, and she also tries to embarrass me whenever I’m around a cute guy. One time, there was this guy who was interested in me that sat next to me. She stared at me, then said, "Hey! Do you still play ROBLOX?” I felt as if she was trying to embarrass me or make it seem as if I was being childish.

Also, this one guy (we will call him Braden) started texting me out of nowhere. Braden and Janay are CLOSE FRIENDS. So I was highly suspicious. Braden was being very interested in me, asking me how my summer was going and whether or not I have a boyfriend. What struck me the most was the fact that he asked me, "Do you still talk to Janay?" By this point, I KNEW that Janay and Braden were teaming up against me. This point was proven even more after she texted me immediately after I gave him my number.

I have NO idea why Janay is acting like this towards me, but I do not care anymore. I know the type of person she is, and I’m DONE giving her second chances. I need to make this *** regret even thinking about ruining my life or trying to make me miserable. She literally saves old pictures of me from when I was in middle school to use them against me so I can feel insecure. I am so done with this. Am I being dramatic? Or should I give this *** hell?

You could ask her why she seems to be behaving poorly to you. Or you could just decide the friendship isn't what it was, and move on. Anything else would be you opting to do the wrong thing.
Young people do change as they get older, move on, make new friends. I suspect there is something about you and/or your life that she is jealous of. I would try and ignore her, make some new friends and she will get fed up of baiting you if you don't respond. I do wonder , if you were suspicious of Braden, why you gave him your number.

Thanks for the alert.

Be alert.

Your country needs lerts.
She sounds very insecure, with serious self-esteem problems. It would be unkind to give her hell. You could try having a heart-to-heart discussion of her behaviour, but of course she may then use that against you so perhaps you should just distance yourself from her.
This can't be for real...
