""If they give me less I'll be homeless as it's going to be a choice of feed the kids or pay the rent," said mum-of-seven Zoe Bridges.
The 29-year-old from Derby is already struggling to make ends meet and was visiting the city's Hope Centre food bank for the first time.
"It's a bit of a nightmare, I've come for essentials like bread and treats for the kids… the government just keep cutting everything. It is what it is," she said."
"Ben Crowe, 30, started receiving Universal Credit after he was made redundant from his warehouse job. He's been using the food bank for the last few months."
How about stop having kids, get the father/s to look after them and Ben can get a job, plenty out there.

But its not the kids faults and should they starve- no. Its a problem that noones sure how to tackle and anyone who does try will be accused of letting children starve
Bizarrely, if Canary’s absurd call to arms is anything to go by, some people are more concerned that money has been given to the rich. Somebody earning a million a year will be paying £400k instead of £450k (in round numbers before the pedants jump on me). I always find it astonishing that people want the rich to be taxed as much as possible.
The parents Atheist.
But I suspect it will be monkey see monkey do, so the kids may see living on handouts as a normal way to live and do the same.
I’ve no doubt Zoe is incensed that the Government have “given to the rich”, without any sense of irony, or gratitude, that they, and every other taxpayer, donates money to allow Zoe to live such a feckless life.
I have sympathy for the children, I have none for her - she’s created the problems she faces.
