Storm Babet is alive and well. Can't remember the last time we had a storm like this. Luckily I live on high ground and have never had a problem with flooding.

My cousin lives in Orkney and they've battened down the hatches for a long stay, freezer full and cupboards full. The dogs fed up because he can't go out for a walk but my cousin says they'll all be horizontal if they go out. I feel so sorry for those that will be flooded. Take care maggiebee.
I'm in Dundee Anne and yes, it is quite bad. Most entertainment venues down near the river are closed. Not sure what happened to the poor woman in Angus but I do know householders in Brechin are being evacuated. Perth now has flood barriers so fingers crossed they are all OK. My friend's sister was flooded out a few years ago and was out of her house for nearly a year.
