Tom & Jerry have been watered down. Very much so. After being watched for 50 plus years by generations of children (and some adults I'll tell you!) someone decided they were too violent to one another. They should be more friendly and not want to bite lumps each other like real cats and dogs do.

Two bricky friends of mine, now sadly passed away, or just, passed, as they say now, would go to the match every Saturday and on their way home would always stop at the pub for half an hour for a pint and to roar laughing at Tom & Jerry on tea time BBC. Twas the done thing!
