Search Box Settings

I've a little netbook which I use for small bits and pieces rather than my main laptop.

Every now and again I get a message saying configuring - please wait.

After it finished, I've got something on my search box, which looks like it is associated with Microsoft edge. If I click on the search box, it appears to go to Microsoft Edge.

How do I get rid of it? There is nothing obvious to do so, and I neither want nor need it.
