Boris Johnson's  book sales have slumped to well below expectations with his much advertised release now been overtaken by a cookbook.

Sales for books like this often sell more on their release then dwindle to the 50p bin quickly simply becasuse those that buy it will have likely back ordered it.

Common sense tells us that but then....

Soon to be available in all good second hand shops along with Liz Truss's book which she should have named  45 days to ruin Britain.

Apparently Mr Johnson's book has just entered its second term at number 1, gulliver.  'Slumped' is not a word that best describes sales.

Despite the barrage of press attention, Worzel's book has left shops with piles and piles of unsold copies waiting to be sold off to second hand book shops.He should have carried on writing about Peppa Pig he might have sold more.

I'm currently reading it, and like him or loathe him he's a damned good writer.

 

You should give it a read Gulliver so you can give insightful comments on the content, although judging by your posts you'd probably be best waiting for Ladybird version to come out.
