Learning to swim!!!!!!
Are there any swimming teachers out there that can help please?
My daughter is 7 and has been in the starter class for two years. When she first started she wouldn't let go of the side and now she can swim under and on top of the water on her front, but we just can't get her to swim on her back.
We take her swimming as well as her lessons and try to get her to float but we can't get her to bring her tummy up.
Is there anyone that can give us some tips.
Pleeeeeese.

They said that they were not available in out borough. I think we'll have to look further afield. We did manage to get her to swim underwater on her back today, she just can't seem to float or swim on the top!!!!
hi , my daughter used to hold a float - or 2 ! - across her tummy ( sort of hugging them like you hug a teddy or hot water bottle ) this helped her float when on her back obviously she won't be able to move her arms just kick her legs but it will boost her confidence and get her used with being on her back
