where to start, A ride on the London Eye, From there you can walk to the Houses of Parliament & Westminster Abbey. Then walk down Whitehall to Trafalgar Square and visit the National Gallery. You can then walk from there to Buckingham Palace or get yourselves day tickets for the buses & trains, they are very reasonable. You can even take a boat ride on the thames from westminster pier.
Also visit the Tower of London and the Monument near to where the Great fire of London started If the days are dry walk through Hyde park & kensington gardens,You can see where Princess Diana lived Also hire a rowing boat on the serpentine (in Hyde Park &Ken Gdns)
It might sound confusing but Hyde park & Kensington gardens are actually joined together but be prepared for a long walk,the parks are enormous
If you go to Baker Street station you can Visit madam tussauds wax works and the planatarium which is virtually next door . I'm worn out now I feel tired after all that walking !
