When was the last time you were pleasantly exhausted ? Today I gathered together Enya, a can or two of Lucozade, and cycled to London. From Tower Bridge along the Embankment, via Downing Street (armed police and Abrams tanks, unbelievable !), Big Ben, Central Park, and down to Richmond. I arrived home to see 28.92 miles on the Cat.

A wonderful day, seeing my own capital city, the flowing blue Thames, leaping salmon, and effing joggers.

When was the last time you said Wow that was a really good day !

For me it was Tuesday night!!

6am Monday - flew to Dublin, spent the whole day walking around, sightseeing and shopping - then went back to hotel to shower/change, etc went back out for food & drinks - got back to hotel and to sleep about 1am - up again at 7am Tues, spent another full day shopping etc then flew back home - arrived back in Newcastle at 10pm & home for around half past!!

I was sooo tired, but had a great time - for anyone who hasn't been - I would definitely recommend a trip to Dublin

Isn't central park in New York?

Good for you- I love days when you get a real sense of achievement. Sadly they only seem to happen when I am not at work, which isn't very often...
