depends if you are studying it at GCSE level at KS4 where you learn alot about physiology and biology. You also have to select some sports (a very wide range) to investigate. There is a great deal of emphasis on fitness and wellbeing these days. Kids at our school have to do bleep tests to see how fit they are. They also participate in step, yoga, trampolining etc. It's not just about playing games. Then there's Outdoor Ed of course which is related to PE - this includes dry slope skiing, rock climbing, bridge building etc. And I am not a PE teacher but that's what I have seen in our PE department!
