Fish Supper

Im having a fish supper for tea tonight and Im incredibly excited. I will have it with salt and vinegar, heinz ketchup and a pickled onion. Im very excited. What would you have?

acutally I get quite excited about a fish supper too, probably because I only have one a couple of times a year. Tonight I am having quiche, salad and mashed potato (Mr Jules won't be in to eat tonight, so I can have quiche - he doesn't eat cheese)

Sorry for my ignorance, but I've heard my parents and grandparents mention "fish supper" before but never really thought what it actually meant - is it another way of saying "fish and chips from the chippy, please Mum?"?

If so................that will be with salt, vinegar, ketchup (has to be Heinz) and lots of thickly cut bread to make big chip sandwiches dipped in forementioned ketchup!

There are many times when I fancy fish and chips but living in Leeds there are no fish and chip shops where their product is even passable except one which is right at the other side of town from me and they cost �7.50

All the local ones at �3.50 are the most rubbish value on earth.

I'm looking forward to retirement so I can go home to Lancashire

I like fish with a bit of soy sauce (if grilled) on it and some garlic bread on the side.

Its the simple pleasures in life that keep me happy ! I polished it off with a twirl with the ends bitten off and sucked through a cup of tea. There was a rave going on with my tastebuds last night it was fantastic !! :O)

doorkey jnr says just the chips (with heinz) as it doesn't do healthy and want to be the anti gollum when it grows up. Me yum and what do you mean no good fish and chip places in Leeds, its more about what tiem you go, if you go when its tea time you always get soggy batter and bad chips, go about 8.30 and its lovurrrly!
