Hair today gone tomorrow

I have quite dark hair and want to go a kind of light brown/blond hair..

Do i have to bleach my hair so i can dye it lighter.. if you get what i mean

hi homer , yes you definitely have to go through a bleaching process , i too am dark and have gone blonde . yes the bleaching i think strips the colour from your hair , dont do it yourself though, its very common for people who have done this to rinse too early and end up with orange hair !! go to a hairdresser hun,its worth it ! x
