Worst top tip you've ever heard
8 Answers
We all receive top tips from people throughout our lives. Some of which stick to mind because they're so practical for your lifestyle. But have you ever received a tip from somebody that is really bizarre or shoddy?
Somebody once recommended a top tip for when you ladder one leg of your tights.
You simply cut off the leg in question, then when the same happens to another pair of tights you cut off the leg in question again. You can then wear both pairs of tights so that it looks like you are wearing a normal pair, and you have the extra bonus of a 'double' gusset which can keep you extra warm in Winter.
I'm sorry, but that is a whole world of wrong in my book!!!

She said to keep doing it until I went into labour. I had 3 weeks to go when she recommended it.
