Goodness, another month of fun and frivolity has flown by and on Monday, we will know who managed to come out on top in August.
At the present moment that 'unenviable' position is held by yours truly - from this spot, things look rather scary, particularly as that pet nemesis of mine, Aquagility is lurking a mere point behind moi, closely followed by freebi2 & Fibonacci, so things could get down right dangerous in the shrubbery this morning.
Now at this point I have no idea who will be the early riser posting the links - Aquagility said he was going away, but I see by the Friday night fun & games, he's still lurking around - why is it that men say one thing and do something completely different - you'd never find a woman doing something like that !!!
OK well someone will post along with their own selections, and then we all have a go too, and then come Monday morning, same routine and I try to get the sums to come out right and then the fireworks go off !!!!
I hope everyone is either very fit and well, or in the case of ulysses100 considerably improved on last weekend and truly on the mend.
Thank you Steff for your best wishes. Slowly but surely the whooping cough is on the turn. I'm still up every 45 minutes in the night but I'm coping with the coughing fits. It would be nice to have a few hours of consolidated sleep though. It would also be very nice and therapeutic to see some sunshine. For the past week here in East Anglia it has been a cold and grey and wet week. It's supposed to be gorgeous for this Bank holiday weekend though.
I am, I am! How dare you throw nasturshums, Steff! Here I am, tyring to come to grips with an unaccustomed laptop - when I should be going fot a suim en avant des croissants.
think AQ is trying to post them in French, for heavens sake, so brace yourself for a bit of a wait, Alibobs, unless the big S [sarumite] comes to the rescue.
and good morning, ulysses - sorry I've been having a food fight with AQ - I'm glad to hear things are coming along steadily for you, I agree a decent night's sleep is half the recovery - I'll gladly swap some rain for our sunshine, which is lovely but unnecessary at the end of winter.
Hi cliffyg...Reg says 3-0 for United tomorrow...don't worry. He's sick of the gloating from the City fans all week...made his life a misery. As he says, let's see what a few more weeks does?? They will shut up then!!!
