Shall i take this job??

Hiya,
ok, im going back to college and i needed to find a job that would let me work only mon, wed and fridays. I had an informal interview with a company an he said i got the job. it couldnt be more perfect! the days i want, a good wage and i can walk 2 work as its 2secs down th road.
But..... when i got home an told my mum she said she didnt want me 2 work with this man as she knows he preys on young women.!!!???
she wont tell me the whole story only that he slept with another woman at his engagment party.
now i dont know what 2 do!!
im 18 an this job is so ideal but now shes said that im not sure what makes her think that of him etc.
help!!

How does she know he preys on young women?

If she is/was mates with his ex-girlfriend, the one he cheated on at his engagement party, then I can maybe understand where she is coming from.

If not, I woujld ask her what proof she has. If none, take the job and decide for yourself whether he is a slime ball or not. Maybe he did shag someone else, maybe not. Maybe he made one mistake in his life and is still paying for it!!!

Whatever he might have done before, there's nothing to say you have to sleep with him too is there? Why the worry?
