Whats in your makeup bag!?

Just come across a survey on Myspaz, here's what's in mine (If you're not interested, just don't post back. It's that simple.)

Whats your makeup bag / cosmetic's case like?
Err, its one of those see-through pencil cases you get for exams lol, so I can see what i've got!

Name everything in there!
(see, this is another good reason for it to be see-through!)
-Bodyshop foundation
-No7 black mascara
-No7 Black eyeliner pencil with a smudgy thing
- same but grey/silver
-Brown & black & grey & green rimmell eyeliners (from tesco!)
-bodyshop highlighter / conceler thing
-big face brush
-dinky applicator brush
-bodyshop shiny eyeshadow
-no7 dark blue eyeshadow
-brush end of an old mascara (washed, obviously)
-this amazingly cool clear lip stuff thats like vaseline in a stick
-a rubber (from when it used to be my exam pencil case)

If you only have 5 mins, what do you put on?
-mascara
-highlighter stuff under my eyes
-foundation
-black eyeliner on the inside and grey on the top of my eyes

hi skyep, Im the kinda person that buys the big 12-colour box of cheap eye shadow for 2.99 whilst in the queue in the chemist - its too big for handbag never mind make-up bag lol

oh curlers, yep i got a pair, im scared o them, sometimes they stick to my lashes and pull em out lol

they do make a difference if youve any lashes left

Ooooh I bought a No7 heated eye lash curler the other day, it's wonderful!!!!!! God, I really should get out more!lol.x

ooooh I love make up, what a fab q! I have lots because it's a real hobby and quite often the free gifts they give out with them keep me going for a while.

I keep my make up in boxes and off the top of my head have something like:
around 15 - 20 mascara's (I know, I know) ranging from a couple of maybelline ones, to loreal, bourjois, max factor, couple of number 7's, Estee Lauders and Christian Dior
About 10 eye pencils (different colours) various brands.
About 8 glitter eye liners in various colours (silver, gold, blue, mauve, green etc etc)
a selection of eyeshadows in different brands and textures
Estee Lauder foundation
Revlon foundation
A few pressed powders (Estee/Clinique/No 7)
2 blushers (Clinique/No 7)
2 Bronzers (Dior/Bodyshop)
Benefit dandelion
I wouldn't have a clue how many lipglosses and lipsticks I have, they're mostly clinique and lancome juicy tubes though
Make up primers
Eye lash curler
Various applicators and brushes
Concealors (about 3)
highlighters (benefit moonbeam, ysl touche eclat etc etc)

If I have 5 mins I shove on a bit of foundation, pressed powder, blusher and then a quick sweep of a pencil eyeliner and a bit of mascara (I find if you use a lash lengthening one and then a volumising you get good separated but volumised lashes pretty quick).

Well, most of my make up is a big clear/glass case, make-up artist style..lol And I keep buying more all the time!
I have a small clinique make up purse though, which is always in my handbag. In it there is:
- black Diorshow mascara
- Miss sporty pressed powder compact
- Eyelash curler
- shine control papers
- pair of tweezers
- red lipgloss / clear lipgloss / lipbalm
- Urban Decay heavy metal glitter liner
- black khol liner
- Collection 2000 highlighter/concealer
- Cream gold eyeshadow
- Clinique pore-minimizer

Beads - oh.my.giddy.aunt. That is, I have to say, quite ridiculous. In a good way of course! is YSL touche-whatsit worth the money!? My bodyshop one is �11.00.

I have a very humble make-up bag consisting of:
lipstick
eyeshadow
eyeliner
mascara
eyelash curlers (not as exotic as Katies)
foundation
concealer.
My twin daughters used to wreck every bit of make-up i had so i tend to keep it to a minimum now!x

Perhaps, but my view is that I just find it interesting - the looks you can create and how it can make you feel. I haven't just purchased it all overnight and have just built up a collection and if I like something when I finish it I buy it again. Quite often i receive as a present (i.e. the ysl - personally i prefer number 7's version)...and I have websites coming out of my ears which I've found where you can get good make up for far cheaper and get bits on my boots card etc...

...My friend has loads too and when we have parties we always end up (depending on whose abode we're in) in the bedroom wearing a tiara with a glass of wine just trying out various make up! :)
