A German and an English truck driver were having an argument about the merits of their own nations trucks.
'I haff come before mit a 40 tonne load from Hamburg to Manchester in twelve and a haff hours.' said the German. 'None of your trucks could do zat!'.
'Huh', replied the Englishman, 'My dad once went from Lincoln to Berlin, delivered a ten ton load, and was back nine hours later!'.
'Gott in Himmel', said the German. 'Vot was he driving?'/
'A Lancaster bomber', replied the Englishman.
