have any of you tried those jml dryer balls if so what do you think of them .I bought some the other week and personally I think they are a load of c*** .and it sounds as though you've got a couple of bricks in the dryer look forward to hearing your opinions
I got them ages ago and do use them. I think the washing dries more evenly with them in the machine but the drying time does not seem to be cut down and yes they are noisy!

I used to have a very thickly padded down parka that could be machine washed and tumble dried. The manufacturers recommended putting a clean plimsoll or similar object in the drier with the parka. This ensured that the down fluffed up evenly, instead of clumping together, during the tumbling process.
But why you'd want to do this with a normal wash is beyond me. Just a gimmick, I reckon.
I got some off ebay and have used them a few times. They claim to cut drying time down by a certain percentage, so I set my dryer for a shorter time. After that time the washing was still wet so I ended up putting it on again, so it did not cut down drying time for me!
Gimmick I say and i think mine will go back on ebay!
I noticed a few days ago that the Bargain Store in our town are now selling them for just 1, they've got loads of them, this makes me think that they can't be much good................welsh
I got some and used them for a few weeks until I realised that my clothes started smelling of plastic so I stopped. And they do make a huge racket if they're cold!
My son has a puffy winter jacket for school. I bought a pack of tennis balls from woolies. I put them in the drier with the jacket and it puffed up nicely. Cheaper than JML drier balls.
