Scots blamed for Military disasters
This article says that Scots don't know when to back down, and are always up for a fight,
I my experience, Militarily speaking, I think thats a good thing, one thing i'll always remember, is the Battlelight in their eyes, fantastic.
But after reading this article, i'd like to hear your views,
Thanks.

Hi John,
Yes, I know that, lets face it, without the Scots, there'd have been no British Empire, they are, and probably always will be, the backbone of the British Army,
Whether there's any basis on what that article says, he really should've balanced it with the victories, that 'hotheadedness' has won for us.

Lonnie, 65-70% of the SAS and SBS are Scots, most of the Parachute Regt and Royal Marines are Scots, we (the Jocks) are a martial race, one reason the Act of Union in 1707 came to be was because the English establishment admired our fighting spirit. That said, as you know I've been in both the Royal Scots and RAMC, I met some great English, Welsh and Irish infantrymen during my time, nationality didn't really come into it , I think our national mix makes the British soldier, no matter where in the UK he comes from, the best in the world.
