We have just had some painting done and the front porch which has red tiles is streaked with white. We have tried scrubbing but the marks are still there. Can someone suggest what we might try? I may say this is not the Royal We, I'm asking for my OH and myself.
Thanks.

What type of paint was spilt? If it was gloss then brush cleaner would work. But if the tiles are unsealed terracotta the marks may be nearly permanent because the paint has been absorbed into the tile. Have you tried a little sandpaper? If the paint cannot be dissolved then you may be able to remove the top most layer of tile that is stained.

Thank you, showcatbenga. I thought it was Emulsion but since it hasn't come off, I think it might be gloss. Anyway, I'll try what you suggest and I'll let you know how I get on.
Thanks again.

My OH tried both the brush cleaner and the sandpaper but the marks won't budge because the tiles are porous but thanks for your suggestions anyway.
