Relax!
The myth that all woman are propelled to orgasm by intercourse, is just that - a myth!
More woman orgasm through direct stimulation of the clitoris, or other erogneous zones than through intercourse, and for some reason - probably the adult film industry - people assume that if they don;t promote or achieve orgasm with intercourse, they must be doing it wrong - which is patently not true.
A little physical georgraphy - you will notice that the clitoris is not excatly situated on 'main street' in terms of brushing up against passing traffic, so why not experiment by you or your partner gently applying a little finger pressure to move your sensitive areas into a place where they experience the movement and friction of intercourse. This may help, but if not, the simply find other ways - as you have - and accept that this is perfectly normal.
A lot of women do find intercourse stimulates them to orgasm, but a lot more don't, so it is nothing to worry about.
An you're quite right, faking is not a good idea - far better to find ways around this than to pretend.
