sore gums

any ideas on what is best to cure sore gums have tried gum gel pain killers but no relief have dentist appt monday

apply clove oil [chemists sell it]to the gum with a cotton bud,it stings a bit but is better than the pain.

have you tried ANEBESOL? i used it on all mt three children when they were teething. It is midly anesthetic as well as a pain killer and won't rub off easily like a gel. Or for now, a bit of whisky?

Have you tried Rinsted Tablets (Available at chemists) I have tried them & they do seem to work
