My daughter's day...
19 Answers
My little one has had an awful day, so I thought i'd share it with you lot.
The day started off rather well for her, she had a toy sword bought for her (see post below). However that caused me to scream and shout (again, see post below).
Anyway today was supposed to be Wednesday Club day, her first one. This is where the little one's going to school this September pop into school and spend an hour getting to know the class and teacher etc. She was sooooo excited, and completely buzzing to be going as she was "a big girl now". Anyhoo...we gets there, it's been cancelled due to snow. She was devastated and burst into tears right there in the classroom.
To try and cheer her up, I said we'd go park, so off we trot. The park is closed and all the kiddy stuff taken out as they're doing it up- she burst into tears again.
In a desperate attempt to cheer her up, I took her to the shops and bought her a little toy and a iced bun. We came home- the toy's broke and the dog nicked her bun.....
Sometimes it's hard being 4 years old.

Robinia, I did that too - I packed my book (in case I got bored), a banana (in case I got hungry) and my toy dog (in case I got lonely) in a Tesco carrier and threatened to leave.
My mum said she did the same at the age, but she left home with her typewriter (?), then two houses down decided it was too heavy to carry and so went home again.
