Just take the time to read through these statics, and do you agree that the figures contradict themselves? So as not to favour the BNPs stance. Forget for the moment any BNP hatred, and just concentrate on the figures.

///Only six per cent of voters think it has the best immigration policies and 90 per cent reject its call to stop all immigration, confirming that the extremist group remains a fringe party.///

///An overwhelming 69 per cent oppose its belief that white Britons’ interests should be put ahead of others and 54 per cent thought Mr Griffin’s television performance would put potential voters off his party. However, many voters also have little faith in the mainstream parties, with 62 per cent agreeing they have no credible immigration policies.///

///More than half of those polled, at 54 per cent, thought Britain had too many immigrants.///

///Sixty-five per cent believe recent arrivals get favourable deals on housing and state benefits and 44 per cent that mainstream parties have abandoned the white working class.///

Seems a little bit like people don't like the immigration policies of the major parties, but also don't endorse the BNP's policies, which seems to suggest that people are either a) asking for a 'middle way' or b) aren't sure WHAT they want.

As per JTP - a source would be welcome.

it was a poll done for the News of the World leapt on by the Express

http://www.express.co...bility-on-immigration

What the figures show is to do with what people believe the situation is - they think that immigrants get favorable treatment.

This is hardly a surprise the News of the World and Express have spent years giving them unreliable anacdotal evidence of this.

If you spend so much time and money feeding people's paranoia you'll get this sort of response.

Despite this it's gratifying to see that the 69% don't want to put white britons first and 90% see that you can't stop all immigration and whether have too many imigrants is almost split 50:50

It shows that what people want is for everyone to be treated fairly - which I think is pretty much the case - but that's not what the Express want people to think
It seems to suggest that people aren't happy with the immigration policy they think we have now, but do not think the BNP model is what they want either.

It is quite possible to reject the current situation and not automatically lurch to an extreme view.

Jake-the-peg

You posted exactly the same Daily Express link.

You state:

Despite this it's gratifying to see that the 69% don't want to put white britons first

And yet the excerpt shows::

Sixty-five per cent believe recent arrivals get favourable deals on housing and state benefits and 44 per cent that mainstream parties have abandoned the white working class.

//// If you spend so much time and money feeding people's paranoia you'll get this sort of response.////

The same could be said for the Establishment, perhaps that's why the BNP etc. gets such bad press?

Anti News of the World, Anti Express, Anti Daily Mail????? . Since Jake-the-peg only agrees with Jake-the-Peg please tell us where he gets the only believable information from?
well whatever the figures noo labour zre soley responsible for this. Now we have evidence blair and bottler conspired to create their dutopian dream of a multicultural state. Wot nobheads. And they still wont admit responsibility.
Many must now realise what AOG and others have been saying about immigration is correct. Now that we have heard these revelations from inside the government only those hostile to immigration such as Jake are trying to bluff their way out. I know who the realists are!
Were the same group of people asked the different questions? If not, then the figures are meaningless.

There are lies, damn lies and statistics.
