Where's good in Dublin?
Am thinking of going for a quick weekend trip to Dublin with a mate... we're two girls looking for a bit of fun and ofcourse, somewhere good to have a drink!
So can anyone tell me what are the best areas to aim for in Dublin?? :)

Here's a good place for lunch:

(You can't go to Dublin without sampling a boxty!)

i enjoyed temple bar area(including The Temple Bar). There was a good bar just opposite Temple Bar too and you must try Gallaghers Boxty House for food (in this street too!). You may not be looking for touristy things to do but my friend and I did the kilmainham gaol tour, it was really interesting and I recommend it if you want to a bit more than just eating and drinking. Dublin was expensive due to the euro exchange rate - we were paying around 16 euros for a couple of vodkas, better option was buying bottles of wine in places!

We went to a really nice up market cocktail bar in the Temple bar called Morgan which was good, I agree about the boxty house, think that was the best meal I have ever had in Dublin well worth going. You will see some sights in the Temple bar, with people throwing up etc, but there are still some nice places there. Enjoy yourselves!
