Dream Holiday!

Hi, about 4 years ago I posted on here asking for dream holiday destinations and ended up taking advice from a member and ended up in Borneo....Fantastic!
So.......I want to go away somewhere amazing again!

Boxtops...looked at the Galapagos, but have been told it's a bit like a factory out there now + I'm taking 13 year old who will just have passed her PADI, so the diving is too hard for her.

Thugulike, thought about Costa Rica last time, may have to give that another look.

Alexandered....Can't really afford Oz, but mmmmm to the Maldives

Hey jno, want some diving but want something interesting on land too.

I'm wondering about doing the Red sea again but maybe going south, maybe a few days on a liveaboard and trying to find Rays and maybe Hammerheads, then Egypt or something?
I love the planning, it's the best part....The world [well most of it] is my oyster!

If you`re looking for a diving holiday, I`ve heard Honduras is good

Granada - Caribbean, for all swim pursuits & diving (too hot for wet suits). Lovely coral reefs/fish/flora/fauna/wildlife & 'god-fearing' peeps, honest/polite & welcoming. Extras: Island tours/boat trips, internal small planes for Bermuda & Jamaica. Reggae nightly, everywhere. Lush & tropical.

We had a great trip to Jordan a few years ago. Snokelling is excellent and easily reached from the shore. Plenty of amazing sights if you fancy a few side trips, eg Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, Jerash. Fly direct to Aqaba in a few hours. Much less bling than Egypt

Hi Lisa - It was me that sent you to Borneo - nice to hear from you again. I went back for my 3rd visit in Feb this year! Went to Costa Rica last year - it's very beautiful. Does it have to be diving? I went to see the pandas in Chengdu, China and they were gorgeous - you can combine them with Beijing, Shanghai ,Li river cruise or whatever you want. I'm off to Indian on the luxury train the Indian Maharajah in December.
