Cracking night -she made me laugh so much -gave me thoughtful gifts which brought a tear to a glass eye.
Bet every Mum/Dads proud of their kids really (even though my son has taken a hiatus I know he'll soon come out it).
So instead of moans (guilty) lets say something positive about our children because if we cant no-one else will:)
O and all that after she was paid off 2 days ago -wee trouper -she bounces back each time:)
Wouldnt have a bad word said about her but then every Mums the same......
Lets hear some positivity !!!

We were talking about Claires sense of humour tonight. She's so funny. She's not stupid but comes out with really dim things. I love the fact that she laughs at herself all the time..
Jay, he's a good boy and doesn't give me any back chat.
Owen, well he's just Owen...lol...bloody hard work but he's brutally honest and will always stick up for anyone who's being picked on.
I'm quite lucky really :-)

Hi hun....you know I'm proud of lil pasta......she took herself (and her parents) thru to hell and back when she was 16-17. I thought she was lost to a much older BF,and drugs .....but she's done well-and learnt from those early mistakes. God-I really miss her right now.....
We love our kids...we spoil them...we stick with them.

I don't have a daughter, just one son - who drives me nuts. He qualified as a Gym Instructor last week, but now has to continue to qualify as a personal trainer. He has been working as a casual postman for the past 18 months to pay for the course. He got the sack this morning for being late - I wanted to go and punch his manager's lights out, as he is an ar$ehole who keeps forgetting to put Glen's hours in and he does'nt get paid.
Anyway, he grabbed the car keys out of my hand and said 'cool it' Mum, 'I will sort it'.
I know he is an adult and has to sort his problems out, but you just can't stop being a Mum and want to protect them. I could write chapter and verse as to how many fights I got into when he was little. (:0 )
Your daughter sounds lovely Dris.

My daughter is fab. She's very thoughtful - when she was 2 I was sitting on the couch and my feet were cold. She went into her changing bag, got a fresh nappy out and wrapped it round my feet saying 'to keep your toetoes warm'. She still does things like that all the time. She's also really funny, great company and is doing brilliantly at school. For a teenager she is surprisingly bright and cheery almost all the time and she doesn't feel the need to follow the crowd - she 'celebrates her weirdness', and doesn't care what others think of her. I love her to bits :)
