how can i help my mum get to see her mum's will?
my nan died 6 months ago and left a will. nothing was said about it by my mum's sister but i recently found my nan's property for sale. my mum asked her sister about the will and was told 'that yes, there was a will. but there was nothing in it for you'. she has not seen the will and it looks like she has no hope of seeing it.
the flat has been sold and is in the final stages of completion i think.
my question is, how can my my mum get to see for herself that there was nothing for her/her family in the will?
asking her sister (who was the executer) is really not going to happen.
thanks in advance

You can try the Probate Registry local to your nan - phone them first to find out if they have a publicly available copy of " Willfinder". You will need Nan's full name, address and date of death. Once you have established whether there was a Grant of Probate you can then request a copy of the Will from the registry.
Or
write to Postal Searches and Copies...

give same details above and enclose a cheque for £5.00 to HMPG. If probate has been granted (I assume it must have been because there is a property - unless that was jointly owned with someone who inherited by survivorship) they will send you a copy of the Will and Grant.
