I am thinking about moving, although I have to sell this house first, so I keep looking at nice places I would like to buy. One phrase that estate agents use really annoys me - "deceptively spacious" - Deceptively? Immediately leads me to believe they are trying to deceive me and so I would not buy from them or would look very carefully at what they are trying to sell me. Any other phrases that put you off rather than tempting you?
That reminds me of when i went to a jewellers to get a bracelet resized. He said my wrists were deceptively slim. It was only when i got outside it struck me that he was saying i was fat........cheeky ****
"Ideal project to finish" means somebody else, who probably should never be allowed to breed, let alone pick up a tool has made a totally cack handed job of it so far.
