My Bosch Fridge...

I'm having a bit of trouble with my Bosch larder fridge. Its not very old (3 years) I've never had any probs with it before.
Every day I find pools of water under the salad drawers, sometimes they're all iced up and I have to chip it away to be able to remove them. I know there is a drainage hole at the back and its not blocked so why is the water not draining away like it always has done.?
Do I have to get an engineer in or is it something simple I can fix myself?

Are you sure the hole is clear, poke something long and thin right down it, just because it looks clear at the top end doesn't mean it is at the bottom.

Is the fridge level? There are usually adjustable feet to level it up. We have this problem occasionally it just seems to come and go, no idea why!

Almost certainly a blocked drainage hole. It gets a sort of organic jelly
t build up inside.

Thanks for reply's folks, CF, yes I've poked a long thin stick in there & it seems to go back quite a way, I even heard the clang of the outside mesh back, so no obstruction.
Its part of a Fridge/Freezer (top) floor v/level.
mjw, mmm! I'll give it another poke and a wriggle, see what that does, I'll give an update in 24Hs.

Mine also has the same problem, it has been like it for at least 12-18 months and although it's annoying, it doesn't seem to affect the temperature. Would anyone know if it would affect the energy used ? I will try giving mine a 'poke' and checking the floor level.

Drainage hole at the back of Fridge needs to be checked on a regular basis along with drainage Tray

Thats what we've all been talking about redman, that we know, any other idea's?

The preferred temperature is somewhere between 35 and 38 degrees F (1.7 to 3.3 degrees C). Anything higher and foods will spoil too quickly (it also presents food poisoning problems).
Anything lower and freezing becomes a problem.
Your Fridge Temp may be set too low Jemisa, check it out with a Fridge Thermometer

Oh ok! redman never thought of that because we haven't changed temp since we had it. I can't reach up there to look but H will have it put on his 'To Do' list. for when he gets in.
