What is the final phase of the admission cycle for filling any remaining vacancies at UK Institutions called?

[Andromeda]

I am assuming you mean academic institutions and not, say, mental ones, the answer is Clearing. It tends to start about 2 minutes after A-level results come out, and lasts until late September. If you are planning to do that yourself this year, good luck.
