monopod hosiery?

I was just wondering if a one legged person would have to wear not a pair of trousers, but a "trouser"and if so then logically it should follow that they would also wear a" boxer short", a"knicker", a "trunk"and presumably an "underpant".

And why are spectacles not called "duocles" as in two "monocles" ? Makes perfect sense to me! As usual i am right and society is wrong!
