It's everything to do with grammar. You may not mind that you do not speak in what is now considered grammatically correct English, but it's still about grammar.
"Google picked up 57,800,000 results for "alot", even though the word does not exist. What a useless Search Engine, it has made up matches were none exist."
It is ironic that, in posting a reply on the subject of grammar, you type 'were' instead of 'where'. This may be merely a typo, but it's a common error. Also 'none' is singular, so it should be "where none exists."
