Gnocchi

I have been fancying trying the kids on gnocchi (was going to make some myself but I saw some today in Asda that were very reasonably priced, if the kids like them then I will try to make some). Anyway, what do you serve them with? Thanks.

In Italy we had it with chicken escalopes, but also served with the same sort of things as you would mashed potato

We have them as you would pasta. My wee Nonna makes them often so she cooks up a massive pot of sugo (pasta sauce) and we have it with that. Or we bake them with sugo, mozzarella, fresh basil and parmesan.

It's lovely roasted with peppers onions and chicken and tomatoes chuck some cheese on top and melt mmm
