My daughter in law wore a beautiful wedding dress that she bought in a charity shop. She slightly altered the neckline and had it professionally cleaned. It has now gone back to the same charity shop so someone else can use it.

There are some fab dresses in the sale on the Debenhams website at the moment http://www.debenhams.com/women/dresses/wedding-dresses.
Otherwise, designer outlets or places like TK Maxx sometimes have heavily discounted gowns from highstreet stores like Monsoon.

A friend bought a dress from ebay which a bargain and cheap to have altered at a local dressmakers.

I have a solution for this. You can search wedding fabrics at a site that is well known for its quality. You don't need to worry about the budget. There are various wedding fabrics available on that site of different range. You can pick one according to your budget.
