I know this quiz is not due until the end of December so I also know there is plenty of time to spare but I only have one question that I cannot do and it is driving me up the wall (and over the top). Another clue would be helpful if there is one. The clue is "Old name given to white-topped waves" The answer is two words with 8 and 9 letters so it is not white horses, which is the only answer I could come up with. I have looked everywhere I can think of and I am beaten. Any help will stop me going crazy. Thanks.

Thanks very much Gill. I have never heard of that expression before and did not think of looking under that particular heading. I learn something every day. What is it they say - learn as if you were going to live forever - and I do.
