I Am 100% Sure I Am Gness's (Taller) Twin
38 Answers
I have read Gness's post on her trip out today and tutted to myself.
I then had a recap on my day.
All was going well until this afternoon when I received a frantic call from a friend who has a shop in town. She needed to go to the local Minor Injuries unit fairly quickly and asked me to hold the fort in the shop.
In the space of a mere 30 minutes I managed to:
1.Overcharge somebody £20 (in my defence I didn't have my specs with me)
2.Sell something for the wrong price as I was looking at the price label upside down
3. Carefully wrapped a fragile wooden yacht in tissue paper, placed it delicately in a large carrier bag gently handed it to the customer and then when I held my hand out to receive her payment I knocked the bag and snapped a mast
4. Stab a customer in the hand with a pair of scissors
5. Messed up the till - I couldn't get it to work
6. Tore a £10 note in half as I was getting it out of the till
7. Knocked over a full jar of coffee in the store room.
What is amazing is that she wants me back again later this week

MrsO...have you ever considered that the good lord has a plan for us...we are being tested....if we can deal with all that is thrown at us with humour and fortitude we will have our reward in the afterlife?
Or..... we could just be plain, bloody clumsy.... :-(
