Got To Be A Good Sign???

Went for a check up yesterday,for my external fixator on my left ankle,expecting the usual,it's fine,all is fine,see you in 5 weeks etc,BUT Mr Lovely Doctor said 'it's fine (he like to say this a lot!!)healing well,.....so shall we take it off then?
Gosh.....
good job I was sitting down,cos I was not expecting that!When he first saw me he said he could fix it(my poor ankle)but it would mean at least 8 months in the fixator,probably a year.Here I am 4,yes that's right 4 months later and I am fixed!!excuse pun.
Could this possibly be the beginning of the end of all the bad luck me and Hubby have had(check some old posts of mine out and things may become clearer to all of you who are asking who the heck is this?)
This time last year I was beginning to shut down(physically) and Hubby was told to prepare for the worst,the first thing I knew was waking up in ICU on the 4th January wondering what all the fuss was about.We just wanted to get through the festive period with no drama so all seems good!

Oh thank you everyone....it means a lot when people send their wishes.I am sure Hubby and me would not of got through THAT bad time without your support.I find it so odd.looking at the post I wrote last year about feeling ill,I did not remember a thing about it-strange how the old bod works sometimes...Anyway,Happy New Year to everyone,Peter,I hope you are better now.This time NEXT year I am going to hit those sales and shop to make up for these missed years!!
