Blueberry bushes establishing nicely 3yrs on & with a bit of healthy neglect. I didnt get time to lay weed membrane & bark last year. Nature has intervened & the floor of the fruit frame is carpeted in alpine strawberries. Seems an ideal situation as anew edible weed block but I'd like to know if this will be detrimental for the blueberry bushes? Will it make ground dried for them & should they have air round the main stem Base?
