Whats the difference between QUESTIONNAIRE and SURVEY?

The two terms are interchangable, but a Questionaire uses a specific set of questions asked of a representative sample to obtain specific data, wheras a Survey is a more general overview, which may include data extracted from a Questionaire. Sorry if it's confusing - I wouldn't panic too much about it, but maybe the explanation will indicate which term you wish to use.

agree - i would say a questionnaire is one of many means of conducting a survey. perhaps if you looked the two words up at www.dictionary.com it might help

I would personally use 'survey' to describe the act of administering 'questionnaires'.

I work in market research and as the other answers say most of the time they are interchangable BUT a survey tend to indicate opinions have been asked i.e.(what do you think of?) wheras a questionnaire looks for factual answers (when was the last time you...?)hope this helps
