A new 'Brexit Party' has been registered with the Electoral Commission, with hope of appealing to disgruntled Tories who are displeased with May's Brexit policy.

Nigel Farage, who is supporting the party, says it has political donors and plans to mobilize after March 29th if Brexit is delayed or (in their view) compromised.

As there's a fair few disgruntled Tories on AB, would you consider voting Brexit party in an election or would you fear splitting the Tory vote and letting Corbyn in?

Interesting your take on it.

Surely with COB's recent performance and the major split in the Labour party it will appeal to the Labour Voters who really dont like the direction the Labout 'members' (Momentum) are going with the Party and Brexit?

What I am disappointed in is that I would have liked any new party to not just be about Brexit. We need a Party that rids itself of the liberal elite that has infiltrated both the LAbour and Conservative. I know both labour and Tory supporters (myself included) who feel they no longer have a Party they can vote for.

An opportunity missed.

Will I vote for them, yes if Brexit is not delivered.

I think their big moment would be the European elections in May if they go ahead here. And I also say bring it on because that could be the referendum by default :-)

Corbyn is lagging way behind May in the popularity polls, but I wouldn’t risk splitting the Tory vote and enabling Marxists with their imaginary never-ending pot of money to very quickly run the nation into poverty and the country into the ground. My ideal scenario would be for Farage to lead the Conservatives. Dream on, Naomi! ;o)

Very likely. While Brexit is still an issue none of the traditional major parties can be trusted, and as UKIP seems to have lurched into an unacceptable position since Farage left, this would be the only acceptable alternative until we're out and getting back to normal governance once more.

Too soon to say, it's not a very sensible thing to ask as we haven't seen a manifesto, but considering the shambolic state of all the other parties at the moment - probably yes.

But said new party will be made up of the same self centred politicians. Anyone who thinks they’ll be some sort of ‘new light’ in the political darkness is crackers. And anyone who voted leave ain’t gonna vote for them (unless they’re certifiable.......which.......oh never mind).
