A Friend of mine recently died. He was a very happy go-lucky kind of guy who never got stressed about anything. He loved people, and never worried about money or possesions. One of his motto's was...

'Shoot for the moon; if you miss you'll be among the stars'. That one was actually the puchline of a bad joke, but I agree with the sentiment - do your very best, and even if you don't hit the top, you still do well.

I used to have some problems with people accepting me for who I am in high school, which is when I came up with this:
"I am what I am, I'll do what I do, If you've a problem with that - I don't care, F*** you!"
That may seem very self-righteous and ignorant, but I'm generally a nice guy, so what I am and what I do really shouldn't pose a problem to anyone.
