As we have whiff, pong and stink for bad smells, are there any verbs for nice smells?

I hate to do a Spellmaster, but you're looking for nouns ('naming') rather than verbs ('doing' words). And here are some more: scent, redolence, balm

Exactly Wrong Waterwolf. There's loads of nouns. I'm looking for a VERB opposite in context to 'it pongs', 'it stinks' etc. Do I Need to Re-Post?

Exactly Wrong, Waterwolf. I am looking for an opposite VERB to 'It Stinks' 'It Pongs' etc. Do I need to re-post?

Oops, sorry to post twice. I thought Answerbank sorted these little errors? Something smells fishy :-)
Sorry xyzzyplugh, I was thrown by the way you phrased your question, but there's no need to re-post. According to http://www.thesaurus.com/ there aren't that many. Apparently you can say 'to scent' and 'to perfume' and the rest are things like 'to be fragrant' and 'to smell sweet'. No single words in common use as verbs, though.
well, I take that as justification! You see how easily the misuse of English can lead to misunderstandings!

Okay Waterwolf. I did phrase that question ambiguously. What kind of fool am I [no answer required]. It's as I thought we got more negative words than positive words. I Must find a single word verb for 'to smell nice' - maybe from French? As our own fine language is lacking. Eh Spellmaster?
