>>> you have not yet been lucky enough to have a black cat The first cat I ever got from a rescue centre many years ago, Sharka, remains in my heart as 'the god of all cats'. Apart from a couple of white hairs on his chest (that one had to look really hard to see), he was jet black. He was also massive, being referred to by people in my street as 'the panther' ;-) I love...

Give your black cat tins of Tuna on demand!

However, if you do that today he/she will demand it daily from now on

:-)
I have a real soft spot for black cats. I've not had one in years.
This thread will probably trigger outrage from AB's right-wing fanatics. (e.g. "First it's Black Lives Matter, then it's Black History Month and now it's ruddy Black Cats Day. It's outrageous that the interests of British white cats are being ignored!").

;-)
Anyway, it's not us that you should be directing your question too. I'm sure that Shady would be happy to answer it for you:

"Dreamies, tuna, more Dreamies, prime beef, more Dreamies, a bit of stroking, more Dreamies, fresh-cooked chicken, a bit more stroking, more Dreamies . . . "

;-)
Did you know that black cats, like black dogs, are most often over looked in shelters. They need a special day ;)

How ever lovely your multicoloured trio may be I suspect a little touch of envy because you have not yet been lucky enough to have a black cat :-))

I love black cats!
My dog is black...with some white bits. Can he have a special day as well?

I'm so mortified by my observation (of course you will have a black cat along the way) that I have posted a best answer by way of apology :- ))

I think that is Border Collie Day - not sure when it is though !
I also had a huge, god-like black cat. He came with us from the States. We called him the dog-cat. He loved sitting on or across our shoulders...even though he weighed more than a stone. He was called Sake.
