She says the price has more than doubled recently and she simply refuses to pay it. She has never been one for the hugely expensive lotions and potions and her skin is lovely.

She is looking for alternative lightweight creams that are more sensibly priced (her words). She has no allergies to worry about but really dislikes thick creams that take a lot of rubbing in.

Perfect & Protect was the best one. But I dunno. Never use it!

My Renergie Multilift has gone from £56 to £88 last time I bought one.

Just be savvy and buy them when they're 3 for 2 or save up Boots / Superdrug points and pay with those... x

10C, if this is the one you mean it is £50 per 100 ml compared to around £6.50 for the Olay :D My wife would faint!

I would suggest that she has a look at Aldi's range of skin care and compares the ingredients with the brand she uses. Ive used it for a few years now and the whole range is excellent and much cheaper than it's counterparts.

She doesn't like the thick creams, she uses E45 on her shins which have a tendency to dryness.
She tells me she is keen to try the Aldi range, so thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Aldi and Lidl both have own brands, both are pretty good. The Aldi one just shades it for me work best with the serum used at night.

As well as Aldi and Lidl - Savers or Super Savers has well known brands at around £5 -6. I always buy mine there.

Another vote for Aldi face creams from me. I’ve been using their Caviar range for years (for over 60’s) and it compares extremely well against a L’Occitane product which I had previously used at 15 times the price!!!

If E45 is good enough for babies' bottoms, it's good enough for anyone. Also, if you are allergic to perfumed cosmetics, as I am, it's
the perfect solution.

Aldi and lidl are about £2 . I find them very light. They last as well you don't need alot.
